Washington does not believe that Moscow will start peace talks on Ukraine

White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby, speaking to media representatives, was skeptical about Russia’s readiness to start peace talks on Ukraine, despite all Moscow’s assurances.
“Putin has no desire to sit down at the negotiating table in the near future,” the US official said categorically.
Kirby also added that Washington will continue to support Kyiv in the conflict with Moscow.
