Warmth in Moscow broke an 86-year-old record

In Moscow, a temperature record was set for September 20 – the air warmed up to +24.9 degrees. Leading employee of the Phobos weather center Evgeniy Tishkovets writes about this in his Telegram channel.
“By 15:00 at the VDNKh base weather station it was plus 24.3 degrees, at Balchug it was plus 24.9 degrees…” the expert said.
The analyst noted that the previous record for September 20 was set 86 years ago: plus 24.2 degrees.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, temperatures up to 25 degrees are expected in Moscow this week.
