Warming up the atmosphere – Style

Pepper, a prized spice once called black gold, is great for winter days, and not just as a culinary seasoning. Kommersant Style tells Kommersant Style which flavors containing pepper should be chosen.

Pepper is one of the most sought after ingredients in perfumery. Its aromatic variations are almost endless: black, Japanese, Peruvian, water – each pepper has its own sound, its own olfactory character. The most common ones found in fragrances are black (it’s spicy and woody) and white (it’s warmer and more intense). They go well with woody, powdery and oriental accords and add gloss and shine to the sound of any perfume – noble and not too flashy.
