Moscow and central Russia will experience warming after an abnormal cold. Most likely, residents of these regions will no longer see 30-degree frosts this winter, said Evgeniy Tishkovets, leading specialist at the Phobos weather center.

Already on Monday, Central Russia will be in the warm sector of the cyclone. Light snowfalls are expected; at night it will warm up to an average of -5…-10, in the daytime 0…-5. It will be a little cooler again on Wednesday, with lots of snow expected on Thursday and Friday.

“Thanks to the warm and humid North Atlantic cyclones, 10-15 mm of precipitation will fall. By the end of the week, the thermometers will rush to storm the zero mark. This means that Epiphany frosts are canceled,” he wrote in his telegram channel.

Temperatures over the weekend will remain close to normal.

In Moscow next week, 17-22 mm of precipitation is expected, or up to 30-40% of the monthly norm, snow cover will increase by 5-8 cm. Tishkovets predicts mild and snowy winter weather in the capital.
