Chita “walruses” on December 3 opened the swimming season on Lake Kenon, in total, about 70 people plunged into the hole. Anatoly Khrobust, chairman of the health-improving and sports organization Rodnik, told about this to MK in Chita.
On the day of the opening of the swimming season on Lake Kenon, an ice hole with an area of 4 square meters was prepared.
“So far there were not so many people – they gathered for the first time this season. The breeze disturbed us a little, but nothing. Everyone got such a pleasure, talked. Now we will gather every Saturday, even more people will catch up. By January 19, 150 people will be swimming,” Khrobust said.
Of all those who decided to plunge at the opening of the season, five people did it for the first time, among them a 6-year-old girl.
“For the body, a wonderful shake-up, you just need to want and not be afraid,” the “walrus” concluded.
Now every Saturday the walruses will gather at Kenon from 13:00 to 15:00. Swimming is free.
Earlier, “MK in Chita” published material on how to prepare for swimming in the hole: “Advice from the Chita “walrus” on Epiphany bathing”.
