The shooting competition “Voroshilovsky shooter” was held at the Baranovsky training ground on November 2. About a hundred people took part in the event, according to the regional government. The regional DOSAAF came up with the idea of reviving the competition. Governor Oleg Kozhemyako took part in the opening ceremony.
“The time has come to revive the old traditions that formed endurance, brought up patriotism, instilled skills in handling weapons. And today we are starting to hold shooting competitions “Voroshilovsky Shooter”. This will allow mass coverage of people who are interested in our history and military affairs,” he said.
According to the participants themselves, who shot from a machine gun in different positions, such competitions are useful and especially appropriate in connection with the current difficult situation.
