Voronezh “Torch” suffered a crushing defeat in the match with “Orenburg”

On Friday. On October 28, at the Gazovik stadium in Orenburg, a match was held as part of the 15th round of the Russian Premier League, in which Fakel Voronezh fought with the Orenburg team. The game ended for our team in a crushing defeat – on the guest field, the “flammable” managed to score only one goal, while the Orenburgers drove as many as 4 goals into the “Fakel” goal.

In the first 40 minutes of the game, none of the teams managed to open an account, but already on the 41st, the home team scored the first goal. Forward Jimmy Marin sent the ball into the opponent’s goal, he also scored the second goal a couple of minutes later. The third ball was sent to Fakel’s goal by Gabriel Florentin in the 56th minute of the match from the penalty area. At the end of the second half, the home side won 4-0 (the fourth goal was scored by Brian Mansilla from the penalty spot).

And only in the 86th minute “Fakel” managed to take at least one point – the ball was scored by Maxim Maximov. In a series of win-win games “Torch” in the framework of the RPL, this match was the first defeat. Recall that the Voronezh team won only in the game with Lokomotiv, and the matches with Rostov, Khimki, Zenit, Torpedo and Sochi ended in a draw. The next match will take place on November 5 – on the home field, “Fakel” will play with the team “Krasnodar”.

At the moment, according to the results of 15 rounds, Fakel has 1 win, 9 draws and 5 losses. With 12 points, the team is in 13th place in the standings (with the same number of points, Lokomotiv is in 14th position).
