Domodedovo hosts the championship of Russia in the universal fight “light”, in which Voronezh athletes take part.
According to the results of the first competitive day in the weight category up to 65 kg, Artyom Knyazev rose to the highest step of the podium, winning five fights ahead of schedule. His compatriot Valeria Musikhina won the silver medal, losing in the final to an athlete from the Lipetsk region, and another representative of Voronezh, Anna Vorobyova, closed the top three, winning the bronze award of the national tournament.
It should be noted that the championship will be held for three more days, the athletes will compete for several sets of medals in the classic version of the fight.
