Voronezh residents excelled at the national championship in marine all-around

In Izhevsk, the championship and championship of Russia in marine all-around took place, in which more than thirty teams took part, including from the Voronezh region, the regional Department of Physical Culture and Sports reports.
Athletes competed in 200m swimming, 800m running and 10m air pistol shooting.
According to the results of the competitions, the Voronezh team managed to win bronze medals in the All-Russian competitions, taking third place in the team.
Note that the naval all-around began to develop in the USSR after the end of the Second World War. Then it had an applied character, the disciplines were used in the training program for the personnel of the Navy. Currently, annual championships and championships of Russia in this sport are held.
