Voronezh bounced back a few minutes later, when Yegor Dugin made an accurate shot. In the second period, the South Urals took the lead through the efforts of Maxim Kuznetsov. The success of the local team at the beginning of the third 20-minute period was reinforced by Maxim Nevolin – 3:1 in favor of the “South Ural”.
After the sixteenth defeat in a row, the “hurricanes” continue to be in the penultimate place in the standings with 18 points in the asset.
The final match of the calendar year in the national championship, the Voronezh hockey players will play away against the Chelyabinsk “Chelmet” on Thursday, December 29. The starting whistle will sound at 17:00 Moscow time.
