The training camp of the Voronezh “Fakel” continues in Belek, Turkey. In the first control match on January 15, the “flammable” team met with the Sabail club from Azerbaijan. The Voronezh team’s coach, Sergei Tashuev, fielded a lineup for the match that was close to the one the Voronezh team played in the autumn-winter part of the championship.
In an hour and a half of playing time, both clubs managed to score only once. At the end of the 70th minute of sparring, Maxim Maximov earned the Voronezh team a penalty, and his club partner Nikita Motpan confidently converted the 11-meter kick.
Let us note that Sergei Tashuev’s team will play the next control match in Belek on Friday, January 19 against “Nasaf” from Uzbekistan. Let us remind you that Fakel went into the winter break in the RPL in 11th place in the standings.
