Voronezh “Fakel” received another fine for the behavior of the fans – now for 100 thousand rubles

There are enough reasons to fine the Voronezh team again for the behavior of spectators during the match – a bottle thrown on the field and insulting “chants” addressed to the chief referee.

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) fined Fakel for the behavior of fans during the match of the 14th round of the RPL with Rostov. A bottle thrown from the stands will cost the Voronezh club 50 thousand rubles, insulting expressions that the audience chanted, another 50 thousand.

The FTC warned Fakel that if such incidents recur, the sanctions could become stricter.

The Voronezh club gets a fine due to the behavior of fans during home matches already second time. After the game with Zenit, obscene cries from the stands of Fakel fans cost the team 30 thousand rubles. In the event of a recurrence of incidents, in addition to monetary sanctions, the club may face the closure of certain sectors of the stadium and even the game in empty stands.

During the match “Fakel” – “Rostov” the dissatisfaction of the fans was caused by the refereeing of the chief referee Pavel Shadykhanov. Insults poured from the stands after Shadykhanov sent Voronezh midfielder Oleg Dmitriev off the field in the 45th minute. Some of the spectators even launched a plastic bottle onto the field. After the match, Fakel’s management turned to the FTC with a request to cancel the red card for Dmitriev. However, the expert-judging commission took the side of the referee and considered that the player was rightly removed from the field.

Recall that the match “Fakel” – “Rostov” took place on October 22 at the Voronezh stadium of Trade Unions and ended with a score of 1:1. Fakel players managed to level the score thanks to a penalty, which the referee appointed at the gates of Rostovites in the last minute of stoppage time.
