Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov expressed his opinion on the need for large investments to stabilize the heating situation in residential buildings in Podolsk. According to him, this process will require significant funds, reaching billions of rubles, which must be invested to normalize the situation.

“We have to bring everything to fruition. This will also require significant funds from us – billions of rubles that need to be invested in order to stabilize the situation here,” Vorobyov clarified.

On January 5, a local emergency was declared in Podolsk due to a prolonged lack of heating in the Klimovsk microdistrict. Problems with the supply of heat and hot water to apartment buildings arose on January 4 due to a break in the heating main from the boiler house of Klimovsky Specialized Cartridge Plant CJSC (KSPZ).

On January 7, the Moscow Region Prosecutor’s Office announced the elimination of heating emergencies in several cities of the Moscow region, including Lytkarin, Solnechnogorsk, Voskresensk, Sergiev Posad, Balashikha, Khimki, Shchelkovo and others.

Governor Vorobyov noted in his Telegram channel on January 9 that out of 176 houses, only 86 are connected to heating. He also clarified that more than 200 teams are working, including electricians, who monitor the process in each house.

Also on January 9, it became known about plans to nationalize KSPZ by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The governor expressed hope that after the boiler house becomes municipal property, its modernization and staffing with qualified personnel will begin.
