Vologda orienteer entered the top five at the Russian Championship

Stepan Malinovsky represented the Vologda region at the Russian Orienteering Championship. The fight for medals unfolded in Tomsk from 7 to 9 March.
About 250 people took part in the tournament, among which were European and world champions. The orienteers defended the honor of 17 subjects of the country.
The Vologda athlete did not manage to take medals, but he still showed good results. In the category “Cross-country skiing – marked track”, the athlete entered the top five of the strongest participants, and in the discipline “Cross-country skiing – combination” he became the seventh.
