Vologda Dynamo players win a long-awaited victory after a series of setbacks

On the eve of the football team “Dynamo” Vologda held another away match in the Second League of Russia. The game was held in Orekhovo-Zuyevo with the local team Znamya Truda, which currently closes the standings of the second subgroup. The meeting ended in favor of the Vologda residents with a score of 1:2. This victory was the first for Dynamo after four consecutive losses.

At the same time, the home team opened the score in the match. Already in the 12th minute, the Orekhovo-Zuyevo players successfully implemented the attack and confidently threw the ball into the blue-whites’ goal. However, the rivals did not hold the lead for long: three minutes later, the Vologda striker Kirill Korepov scored a return goal and equalized the score. The outcome of the meeting was decided in the second half, when Artur Malygin, having received an accurate pass from his colleague, threw the ball into the opponent’s goal in the 57th minute.

Thanks to this victory, Dynamo moved up to fifth place in the standings, now the team has 23 points. There are three games left ahead of the Vologda residents, they need to get into the top 6 in order to go to the next stage of the Second League.
