Earlier today, the founder of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin addressed with an open letter addressed to Mr. Volodin with a request to send an emergency visiting commission to St. Petersburg to organize the funeral of Dmitry Menshikov, a PMC fighter who died in Ukraine and a former prisoner.
According to media reports, the authorities of St. Petersburg refused to bury him on the Alley of Valor of the Beloostrovsky cemetery and demanded additional permission from the specialized service of St. Petersburg for funeral matters.
