In autumn Russia will host a large international conference Russia – Latin America. It is scheduled for the period from September 30 to October 2. This was stated by Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin at a meeting with Chairman of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez.
The Russian parliamentarian also invited his colleague to lead the Cuban delegation and visit Russia. The Cuban guest agreed with pleasure.
The idea to hold an inter-parliamentary conference in the fall of 2023 at the site of the State Duma came from the head of the international affairs committee, Leonid Slutsky. At the moment, it is not known which countries, except Cuba, will take part in the meeting of parliamentarians.
