Volodin: Kyiv has become a US tool in the fight against Russia

The Kiev regime that arose as a result of the coup d’etat, built on Nazism, became Washington’s tool in the fight against Russia, not only on the battlefield, but also on the ideological front, declared State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin in his Telegram channel.

According to Volodin, the US and EU stake on “liberals, pro-Westerners and Americanophiles” failed: many fled, but in our country they are not perceived, because in Russia “traitors have always been treated badly.”

“Left without the conductors of their ideology, Washington and Brussels are doing everything to crack down on the leaders of public opinion, those who love Russia and defend history and national values. The bloody Kyiv regime organized terrorist attacks: the murders of military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, political scientist Daria Dugina, and the assassination attempt on Zakhar Prilepin,” he wrote.

Prior to this, the FSB prevented a number of tragedies: assassination attempts on journalists Vladimir Solovyov, Margarita Simonyan, Dmitry Kiselev, Yevgeny Popov, Olga Skabeeva, Tigran Keosayan, the founder of the Tsargrad TV channel Konstantin Malofeev, the head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, listed the speaker of the State Duma.

“These attacks were intended to intimidate and destroy those who speak the truth,” Volodin stressed.

On May 6, the writer Zakhar Prilepin was injured as a result of an explosion in his car in the Nizhny Novgorod region, his assistant died. The suspect in the assassination was arrested. According to the SC, he confessed in work for the Ukrainian special services.

Zakhar Prilepin, co-chairman of the A Just Russia – For Truth faction, went as a volunteer to the zone of a special military operation, party chairman Sergei Mironov said in January. Then he recalled that Prilepin had combat experience in the riot police. Since 2014, the co-chairman of the party has participated in hostilities as part of the DPR units, and has also delivered humanitarian aid to civilians in Donbass.

The Russian Foreign Ministry, commenting on the attempt on Prilein, said that Ukraine and its Western curators were behind the organization of the terrorist attack. The ministry recalled the website “Peacemaker”, which publishes personal data of “persons seen in criticism of the Ukrainian authorities”, which are “actively used by the perpetrators of assassinations when they receive the corresponding task.”
