State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin called on companies from Vietnam to more actively enter the Russian market. In his statement, made at a meeting of the interparliamentary commission on cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of Vietnam, he emphasized that Russia has moved away “from the dominance of Western companies.”
“Today we are planning our own development,” Volodin assured. “In this regard, I would like to invite Vietnamese companies to work as actively as possible with ours.”
According to the speaker, mutual trade turnover “should rise to other levels as quickly as possible,” for example, to $10 billion in the near future.
