Volodin called for the use of weapons capable of “destroying the Kiev regime”

The nighttime drone attack on the Kremlin is a terrorist act against the President of the Russian Federation and an attack on Russia, so there can be no negotiations with Kiev. It is necessary to use weapons that can destroy the Kiev regime, declared State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin in his Telegram channel.

“A terrorist act against the president is an attack on Russia. The Kiev Nazi regime must be recognized as a terrorist organization … No negotiations with the regime [Владимира] Zelensky cannot be. We will demand the use of weapons capable of stopping and destroying the Kiev terrorist regime,” he wrote.

Western countries, Volodin believes, must understand that they have become not only sponsors, but also direct participants in terrorist activities. The Ukrainian president himself has stood on a par with the leaders of the Middle East terrorist groups and threatens the security of Russia, Europe and the world, the speaker of the State Duma added.

Earlier today in the press service of the President of Russia reported about the night attack of two drones on the Kremlin. As a result of the incident, Russian President Vladimir Putin was not injured, he continues to work as usual in Novo-Ogaryovo, said press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin called the actions of Kyiv “a planned terrorist act, an attempt on the life of the President of Russia.” The press service also stressed that Moscow reserves the right to take retaliatory measures “where and when it sees fit.” There were no casualties as a result of the incident, and no material damage was caused. After the fall of drones, Moscow banned the launch of civilian drones. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stressed that administrative and criminal liability is threatened for this.

Peskov also toldthat the May 9 Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow will take place as planned, Putin will take part in it.
