Anastasia Volochkova never ceases to amaze. Either she changes directors, then she entered the stage as a singer. Now the artist intends to record a patriotic song. The other day, Anastasia Volochkova and singer Vladimir Brilev were seen in a well-known suburban Moscow restaurant, had a casual conversation and then each went their separate ways. Fans, of course, immediately rushed to attribute the novel to this couple, but it turned out that everything was banal: the ballerina has a purely business relationship, which she told MK about. As it became known, the artists will record together several legendary Soviet songs, not devoid of patriotic content.

– Vladimir Brilev and I were introduced by mutual friends, and yesterday we met, talked about creativity, and in the course of communication, the idea arose to record patriotic songs as a duet and shoot a soulful and touching video for one of them, where I will dance and sing – Vladimir. In general, my performances and performances are an opportunity to distract people from serious events and negativity. And at the moment we thought it would be a spiritual, bright step to support our soldiers and those who are for Russia, for our Motherland. Well, how else can we help? Today Vladimir will come to my house, and we will choose songs. We decided to do all this immediately.

— Can you call yourself a patriot?

– Of course, I am a patriot of Russia, I proved my loyalty. And I didn’t have to prove anything – all my performances in Russia for 20 years have been charitable. I invite all spectators absolutely free of charge. My next such performance, “The Ballerina Through the Looking-Glass of the Circus”, for example, will soon take place again.

I believe that in today’s difficult times, such a project is an opportunity to give bright, warm, positive, sincere emotions, creating a creative atmosphere of joy for children and adults.

I never had any thoughts of leaving Russia. Children here know and love me, they adore me – I unite all the children of Russia through my creativity and my projects. There was a forced situation in my life when I flew to London in 1999. But then it was just that at the Bolshoi Theater they created absolutely unbearable conditions for me to work and expelled me from it. So I was forced to stay in London. Thank God, the English National Ballet offered me a big contract for 18 performances at the Royal Albert Hall. And that was my salvation. But Yuri Grigorovich also brought me back to Russia. I am a person devoted to Russia, and the choice of a song will not be connected with my patriotism, we will take, first of all, a spiritual composition. It’s just that at the moment we are all worried about the current situation. I believe that Russia will win.

– Now rumors will spread on the Internet that Volochkova was noticed with a new handsome artist Brilev: nothing more than a romance! ..

– I can say that I have already got used to such a reaction. I have so many friends and good people in my house, and everyone is immediately attributed to me as lovers, suitors. We have friendship with Vladimir, we value this quality.
