The players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Volna” continue to prepare for the start of the 2024 season. The team from the Nizhny Novgorod region, after a break, returns to the professional level and will play in Group No. 4 of the Second League “B”. The new convocation of “Volna” is headed by a well-known coach in the region, Oleg Aleksandrovich Makeev, who previously worked in the structure of the youth team of FC Paris Nizhny Novgorod. At the moment, “Volna” has held several training camps and is in the final stretch of preparation for the season.
Before the start of the championship in the Second League “B”, the players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Volna” have only a few matches left to play. At the final training camp, which will be held in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Oleg Makeev’s team will play against Dynamo Kirov and FC Paris Nizhny Novgorod-2. “Volna” will have to play with both opponents during the championship in group No. 4, which will add interest to the matches from the fans and coaching staff. It will be very useful for Oleg Makeev to see his future opponents in game conditions.
Volna’s control match against Dynamo Kirov will take place on March 30, and the meeting with Pari NN-2 is scheduled for April 6.
