“Volna” played in a control match with rivals from Kirov

The players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Volna” continue to work at training camps before the start of the 2024 season. The team from the Nizhny Novgorod region has returned to the professional level after a short break and will compete at the Second League “B” level in the upcoming season. Oleg Makeev, a well-known specialist in the Nizhny Novgorod region, who previously worked on the coaching staff of the Paris Nizhny Novgorod youth team, will work as the head coach of FC Volna.
On March 30, the players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Volna” played another control match. This time Oleg Makeev’s team tried their hand at the match against Dynamo Kirov. The match was goalless, but the content was of a good level. The team from Kirov had more possession of the ball and combined, while Volna defended well and ran into quick attacks. The final whistle recorded the score 0:0, which was absolutely logical.
Volna will play its next control match on April 6. Nizhny Novgorod will play against Paris Nizhny Novgorod-2.
