Volleyball, snowballs, hockey: the first Winter Games Festival in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will unite residents of municipalities

On April 14 and 15, at the initiative of the Governor of the YaNAO Dmitry Artyukhov, the first Winter Games Festival in the district will be held in Noyabrsk and Salekhard. Northerners from all municipalities of the Arctic region will participate. This was reported in the press service of the head of Yamal.
Teams of local residents, Nadym Labytnangi, Yamal, Shuryshkarsky and Priuralsky districts will play in the district capital. Gubkintsy, Novourengoytsy, Muravlenkovtsy, as well as teams from the Tazovsky, Krasnoselkupsky and Purovsky districts will arrive in Noyabrsk.
Teams should be no more than 20 people aged 18 years and over, half of the participants are women. They will compete in snowball fights, snow cycling, ethnobiathlon, hockey in felt boots and snow volleyball.
The winners will receive diplomas, medals, cups.
Earlier on Yamal passed a week winter sports. About 15 thousand northerners took part in a wide variety of activities.
