Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” will compete in the 2023-2024 season in the Russian Volleyball Championship among teams of the Major League “B”. The red-blacks made their debut at the professional level and immediately showed excellent results, settling in the first half of the Major League “B” standings. Now Tekstilshchik has a lull between rounds, which the coaching staff decided to fill not with the usual training process or weekends, but with a friendly match that will attract the attention of fans.
On November 28, Tekstilshchik volleyball players hosted opponents representing Major League “A” on the floor of the Palace of Team Sports. Volleyball players “Volzhanin” from Kostroma came to Ivanovo and showed a master class to their opponents, representing “Textilshchik”. One of the best teams in the Western Conference of Major League “A” won the friendly match with a score of 4:0, but Tekstilshchik gained experience that will definitely help in meetings with opponents in Major League “B”.
Let us remind you that the 5th round of the Major League “B” for the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” will be held from December 7 to 10 in the Republic of Abkhazia.
