Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo a year earlier was represented only at the amateur level and played in the First League. In the spring of 2023, Tekstilshchik took part in the final stage of the First League and became a bronze medalist. Later there was a transition to the professional level, where “Textilshchik” began to show excellent results from the very first matches. Based on the results of 22 matches played, Tekstilshchik settled in 3rd position, behind only Obninsk and Dagestan.
On January 5, it became known that Tekstilshchik made reinforcements before the start of the second part of the regular season of the Major League “B”. The contract with the team from Ivanovo was signed by Mikhail Kardash, a graduate of VC Obninsk, who has extensive experience playing at a professional level. Last season, Mikhail already won gold medals in Major League B, winning the championship together with VC Obninsk.
Let us remind you that on January 13, VC Tekstilshchik will hold the first official match of 2024. The red-blacks will play against opponents from Obninsk.
