“Volleyball New Year” took place in Tula

On Saturday, December 23, the Volleyball New Year festival took place in the Tula Arena center. The event was attended by the head of the Ministry of Sports of the Tula Region, Dmitry Yakovlev. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
The minister noted that the future stars of Tula volleyball gathered at the competition and their number is growing every year.
“Volleyball is not only a healthy lifestyle, but also an opportunity to learn how to work in a team, develop leadership skills, improve coordination and reaction,” emphasized Dmitry Yakovlev.
The minister called on young volleyball players not to be afraid to compete and remember that participation is more important than victory. Yakovlev wished the guys hard training.
Volleyball players and coaches from Tulitsa held interactive sessions for young athletes.
It is clarified that about 150 kindergarten students from Central Education Center No. 1, as well as about 40 first-graders, are taking part in the competition.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” wrote that the New Year’s Dynamo Sambo Cup is being held in the weapons capital today. Children aged 7-8 years also take part.
