The Kremlin denied reports that they would then decide to rename Volgograd to Stalingrad.
Signs with the name “Stalingrad” are installed at the entrances to the city along Istoricheskaya Street, Aviator Highway, 40 Let VLKSM Street, Nezhdanova Street, on the 3rd Longitudinal Highway, along Nikolay Otrada Street (entrance from the city of Volzhsky), as well as at the entrance to the regional center from the side of the bridge complex across the Volga, informs administration of Volgograd.
