Voenkor: the front line is stable, the enemy is driven back

At present, the front line in the zone of the special operation is stable, and the advancing enemy has been driven back, war correspondent Alexander Sladkov wrote in his telegram channel.

“The front line is stable. The enemy has been driven back,” he wrote.

Sladkov noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to use the tactics of assault waves, when, after artillery preparation, several armored groups (7-8 vehicles plus infantry) were put forward, then an attempt was made to approach the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, storm the trenches, consolidate in anticipation of the approach of the main forces, with the task of moving deeper our defense

“In practice, our artillery destroys enemy armored vehicles as soon as they fall within its reach. If the assault group manages to reach our strongholds, the uncompromising Russian infantry enters the battle. Otherwise, the enemy’s remaining armor turns around, leaves, replenishes ammunition, refuels and goes back to battle,” he wrote.

Sladkov noted that the assault wave can last from thirty minutes to several hours.

“The offensive has been going on for the sixth day. The front line is stable. Yesterday, the Russian infantry and special forces destroyed the enemy in all our trenches, where they managed to sit down yesterday and the day before yesterday. We even regained our positions in the gray zone, where our combat guards were sitting, ”he wrote.

He also noted that the enemy is afraid of getting into dense minefields.

“There is an absolute disregard of the Ukrainian commanders for the losses in their assault squads. The entire Russian defense, the entire system of fire damage built by our commanders, does not give the enemy a chance, ”he wrote.
