Russian war correspondent Yevgeny Lisitsyn reported on his Telegram channel that heavy fighting continues in the south of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) near Klescheevka.
According to him, the Ukrainian units are trying to occupy the fortified areas of the Russian forces on the heights and dislodge the Russian troops from the forest plantations.
However, the RF Armed Forces repel all attacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer losses, while several Ukrainian servicemen surrendered.
“Artillery is working massively on both sides,” the military commander added.
