“VM”: Grishechkin could not recover after the death of his wife

Actor Vyacheslav Grishechkin, who died the day before at the age of 62, was unable to recover from the death of his wife Anna. His colleague, theater and film actor Ignat Akrachkov spoke about this; his words are quoted by “Evening Moscow”.
Akrachkov noted that Grishechkin and his wife had a very warm relationship, she always supported him. Anna died in 2017 from cancer; the couple had been married for 25 years.
“They had a very close and private, non-public relationship. They took such care of their family. After the death of his wife, he lost a lot of control. It was a strong blow for him, from which he could not recover quickly,” Akrachkov said.
He added that Anna took great care of her husband, treated him and monitored his health. When she was gone, the actor could no longer take good care of himself. Akrachkov added that Grishechkin had heart problems for a long time.
Grishechkin made his film debut in 1989 in the film “Bindyuzhnik and the King.” Over more than 30 years of film career, he has played roles in 167 films, including the popular TV series “Soldiers”, “Kamenskaya”, “Happy Together” and “Brigada”.
The farewell ceremony for Grishechkin will take place at the South-West Theater in Moscow on September 19.
