Vladislav Ovchinsky: the tunnel overpass as part of the Northern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt is almost ready

The construction of the tunnel overpass, which is part of the Northern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt, is almost completed. The monolithic work has already been completed, the slabs of the roadway of the tunnel and the ramp have been concreted. The construction of the roadbed continues. The total length of the tunnel-type overpass will be 264.38 meters: the tunnel – 44.38 meters, the ramp part – 220 meters.
“The construction of the highway is being carried out under a concession agreement. At the moment, the construction of a tunnel overpass is 80% completed, allowing motorists to drive off the understudy to the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road. Workers have already applied waterproofing to the reinforced concrete slab of the roadway,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He added that after that a protective layer of reinforced concrete and two layers of asphalt concrete pavement will be laid. At the same time, electrical installation work, cladding with hinged panels and finishing of technological premises are being carried out, one of which will be given over to the pumping station.
Recall that the project to create the Northern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt is the largest concession agreement in the city. Investments in it amount to about 68 billion rubles. The new highway will unload Mozhayskoye Highway and Kutuzovsky Prospekt, it will improve the traffic situation in the area of the business center. So, it will be possible to get from it to the Moscow Ring Road by an understudy in 10 minutes.
