The capital company increased the production of metal-cutting tools by 78% in 2022. Resident of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” has developed new product lines and generally expanded the range. The plans of the Mikrobor enterprise are to provide the domestic market with superhard composite materials and tools of its own design.
“In 2022, the company has significantly expanded its product range. Today, the company seeks to meet the growing needs of the domestic market for metal-cutting tools and replace large foreign manufacturers,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He added that last year the company increased the output of a number of products by 78% and completed almost 1.9 thousand shipments of orders. With the expansion of production, the company opened an additional 30 jobs, now the workforce includes more than 80 specialists. In general, the volume of shipment of products was increased by 3.5 times. At the same time, revenue compared to 2021 almost tripled.
According to General Director of the Moscow SEZ Gennady Degtev, in a short time the company has developed and introduced five new grades of composites. In the future, a production zone will be created on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, where the enterprise will localize the technology for grinding hard alloy plates.
