A technology that will make it possible to create products from large-format granular refractory materials using 3D printing has been patented in Moscow. Now the scientific and technical center “Bakor” will be able to produce products of any shape at a reduced cost. They will be used to design industrial furnaces, reactors, turbines and rocket engines for industries such as metallurgy, engineering, nuclear and chemical industries and others.
“A large number of enterprises operate in Moscow today, using their own developments in production. This helps factories not only increase the output of high-tech products, but also adapt products to different customer requests,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He added that Bakor STC received another patent this year for its own technology for 3D printing large-format granular refractory materials. The development will allow to produce any formats and dimensions of products, reduce costs and time for production.
It should be noted that the center is one of the participants in the Moscow Innovation Cluster, which gives it the right to use financial assistance from the capital. For example, to receive grants for the purchase of equipment and patenting of inventions in the country. And in 2020, the city gave the center the status of an industrial complex, which provides it with tax benefits.
