A new production shop is being built by the Moscow company MEL, which is building within the framework of MaIP. Monolithic construction work in the east of the city has already been completed by 25%.
“The new production workshop is being built as part of a large-scale investment project, for the implementation of which the city transferred to the investor a land plot of 0.7 hectares in the Golyanovo district. Construction began in February 2023, and today the monolithic work is 25% complete,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He added that the installation of reinforced concrete foundations has been completed. Now work is underway on the installation of a monolithic ceiling. Steel structures were delivered to the construction site. Thanks to the new workshop, the number of products manufactured will increase by more than 1.5 times, that is, up to 4,000 elevators per year.
According to the plan, by the end of this year, to receive a conclusion on compliance for the object. The shop will employ 85 people.
According to Ruslan Rodikov, General Director of MEL, the construction of the new workshop is progressing at a faster pace. For the city and the plant, construction is an opportunity not only to multiply the volume of elevator equipment produced, but also to create additional jobs.
Recall that last year the city began to take anti-crisis measures for enterprises. One of them was the allocation of plots in the capital for the creation of MaIP at a preferential rate of one ruble per year.
