Innovative inspection and screening complexes were created by a resident of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. The equipment allows you to check 100% of vehicles while driving without opening and breaking the packaging of goods. Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department, spoke in more detail.
“The company received the status of a SEZ resident in 2019. It supplies its equipment to more than 25 countries, including China, India, Egypt, Turkey, United Arab Emirates. The company recently implemented a project on the border with Kazakhstan,” Vladislav Ovchinsky explained. The capital official also stressed that the production of all components and parts of the new equipment is concentrated in Russia.
The project was implemented by the company “Diagnostika-M”. The complexes are installed at the Mashtakovo automobile checkpoint in the Orenburg region on the border with Kazakhstan. The penetrating ability of the inspection and screening complexes reaches at least 320 mm for steel. The equipment allows you to scan 100% of passing vehicles and eliminates the formation of traffic jams.
The productivity of the equipment is about 120 vehicles per hour. During work, all radiation safety requirements, sanitary norms and rules are taken into account and observed. The complexes, among other things, allow you to safely scan the cabs of vehicles together with the driver.
