Three new training modules prepared by the specialists of the Moscow Polytechnic University became available as part of the ITS project. At them, the capital’s engineers will be able to learn more about additive technologies.
“Currently, there are four areas for training on the basis of the Moscow Technical School – these are Artificial Intelligence, Microelectronics and Photonics, Communication Technologies and Additive Technologies. Thanks to the fruitful cooperation between specialists from the Moscow Polytechnic University and the ITS, the Additive Technologies program has been replenished with three training modules,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
He added that on the basis of the courses, students will receive the necessary theoretical knowledge in the field of 3D technologies, as well as master practical methods for managing the 3D printing process, which will allow them to successfully apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
One of the modules (234 academic hours) is devoted to 3D modeling, bionic design and reverse engineering. The second (90 ac.hours) – procurement technologies, the basics of data preparation and 3D prototyping. The third (72 academic hours) – computer parametric engineering, 3D modeling and product scanning.
Note that the courses are suitable for both highly qualified engineers and beginners. As a result of certification, students receive a certificate of advanced training.
