USSR hockey champion as part of Dynamo Moscow and multiple medalist of the Soviet Union championships Vladimir Zubrilchev died at the age of 63, reported press service capital club.

Vladimir Zubrilchev was born on July 1, 1960 in Nizhny Tagil. He began his hockey career in the Nizhny Tagil team “Sputnik”, playing in it in 1977–1978. From 1979 to 1980 he played for Dynamo Minsk, and from 1980 to 1984 for Dynamo Kharkov.

In 1984, Zubrilchev moved to Dynamo Moscow. For the capital team, he scored 74 goals in 235 matches of the USSR championship. In 1990 he became the champion of the Soviet Union. While playing for Dynamo Moscow, he also became a silver medalist three times and a bronze medalist at the USSR Championship once.

In 1990, Zubrilchev moved to the Polish hockey club Cracovia, where he played until 1992. From 1992 to 1994, he played several matches for the Dynamo Moscow reserve team. The last club in Zubrilchev’s career was the capital’s CSKA, where he played from 1997 to 1998.
