Vladimir Putin met with Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Irkutsk Region Governor Igor Kobzev, reported Kremlin press office.

At the meeting, Kobzev reported on the socio-economic development of the region, the construction of MS-21 aircraft at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, the implementation of the Eastern Test Site project with Russian Railwaysa rehabilitation center for participants in the special operation in Sayansk, the unemployment rate, etc.

The governor of the Irkutsk region said that the region has acquired a building that is in an “unsatisfactory condition”, where it is planned to place a rehabilitation center for military personnel. According to him, the volume of investments in its reconstruction will be about 1 billion rubles.

“But in general, we understand that we have somewhere around 16,000 combat veterans, and if [реабилитационный центр] for 150 beds, in principle, it will be very convenient for them. We did it in a picturesque place, we bought it, this is the city of Sayansk, 300 km. We have railway transport there, and buses will run, we will do it,” he told the President. Putin asked “to continue this work actively.”

Tazhke Kobzev said that a branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation was opened in the Irkutsk region, and his deputy is in the area of ​​the special operation and oversees work with military units.

The governor also spoke about the state of medicine in the region. According to the governor, feldsher-obstetric stations (FAPs) are being set up in the region, and he also spoke about medical schools that graduate “a total of 100-200 people.”

On July 12, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko at a meeting with Putin informed about the program “Digital FAP”, which allows paramedics to “consult” with the patient. In addition, about 35,000 FAPs received licenses in accordance with the instructions of the President. Mirushako also noted that as part of the modernization of primary care, about 4,000 new facilities were built and created, including polyclinics and FAPs. 2800 medical organizations were also repaired.
