Vladimir Putin awarded the rank of guards to three army units

Russian President Vladimir Putin conferred the Guards rank on three units of the armed forces (AF) of the Russian Federation. Decrees of the head of state placed on the official portal of legal information.
Honorary Guards rank honored 346th Separate Special Forces Brigade (deployed in Kabardino-Balkaria), 25th Special Purpose Regiment (based in Stavropol) and 10th separate brigade special purpose of the Order of Zhukov (stationed in the Krasnodar Territory). All of them received the title for “courage and heroism shown during the fighting.”
Earlier, Vladimir Putin conferred honorary guard ranks on two military units from the Krasnodar Territory — the 77th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade and the 960th Assault Aviation Regiment. It was reported that “the country’s leadership appreciated the high combat skills, moral qualities and professionalism of the military formations.”
