At the same time, the president pointed out that demographics in Russia are influenced not only by the economy, but also by the life guidelines that are laid down in the family. “Young people are postponing birth until later. This is not only economics, but also life guidelines. The work of all levels of government is important. A large family with many children should become the norm, the guideline of the entire state strategy,” said Vladimir Putin and emphasized that supporting families with children is “our moral choice.”
During his address to the Federal Assembly, Vladimir Putin also offered extend the family mortgage program at a loan rate of 6% until 2030.
