Politician Vladimir Kara-Murza (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as an individual foreign agent), who is in a pre-trial detention center on charges of committing crimes under three criminal articles, including treason, said that he was forbidden to talk on the phone with children. According to him, he has not spoken to the children since his detention in April.
Vladimir Kara-Murza referred to a document from investigator Andrey Zadachin, which states that talking to children “may pose a real threat to the proper trial of a criminal case and otherwise threaten the trial.”
“I’m not sure what investigators find most dangerous is if my eldest daughter tells me about her new driver’s license; if my youngest daughter shares news from her dance school; or if my son tells me what songs he teaches to play the guitar,” Kara-Murza tweeted.
Vladimir Kara-Murza is accused under three articles: Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason), part 1 of Art. 284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (carrying out activities of a foreign organization recognized as undesirable) and clause “d” part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation). He does not admit guilt under any of the sane articles. In December, his arrest was extended until February 12.
