The investor will restore a cultural heritage site – a tenement house in Prosvirin Lane. The city signed a lease contract with the developer under the program “1 ruble per sq. meter per year. After completion of the work, the tenant will be able to use the building at their own discretion.
“According to the results of the auction, the city entered into a 49-year lease agreement with the BIV company for a building of the 20th century, built according to the project of architect Pyotr Ushakov. Under the terms of the agreement, the investor will restore the building within 5 years, after which he will be able to switch to a preferential rental rate of one ruble per square meter per year,” said Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.
As the head of the DGI Maxim Gaman specified, a three-story mansion with an area of 609.8 sq. meters located in house 5 in Prosvirin lane. In addition to it, the developer rented a land plot of 330 sq. meters. But it is forbidden to erect any new buildings on the territory. After the restoration is completed, the company plans to use the building as a medical facility.
“Last year, the house of the architect Ushakov was taken under state protection. The building has found a new owner, who is actively involved in the restoration of the historical appearance. The Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage has already issued a task to develop a comprehensive restoration project,” added Alexei Yemelyanov, head of the Department of Cultural Heritage.
