More than 20 capital industrial enterprises were awarded the PromMOSCOW Awards. The award, consisting of 7 nominations, was held as part of the Moscow Industry Month.

“Moscow is the center of Russian industry. Today, there are more than 4 thousand enterprises in the capital that provide jobs for over 720 thousand people,” said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

He added that Moscow Industry Day was established in their honor. This year, large manufacturers of medicinal, confectionery, construction, cosmetic and other products competed for the first prize at the PromMOSCOW Awards.

In the category “Efficient Industrial Complex” the winner was the manufacturer “Elkat”, in the category “Effective SEZ Resident” – “Biforcom Tech”, “The Largest Built Industrial Facility” – “Krost”, “Increase in Labor Productivity” – “Parus Electro”, “Export Oriented” enterprise” – “Ochakovo”, “Open Industrial Enterprise” – the producer of Brand Ice ice cream, and the Moscow Refinery became the “Sports Industrial Enterprise”.

According to the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, Vladislav Ovchinsky, such awards allow us to recognize the work of those who are behind the daily production of products necessary for the life of a modern metropolis.
