About half of the companies in the new cross-industry cluster of electric vehicles are residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

“Currently, the cross-industry cluster of electric vehicles includes almost 40 companies. About 20 of them are located on the territory of the metropolitan SEZ. These enterprises have already joined in the work on the creation of domestic electric vehicles. For example, the Privodnaya Tekhnika company supplies electric drives, the Soyuz design center, a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, is ready to provide temperature sensors, signal processing systems, microassemblies and other microcircuits in the required quantities, and the Additive Technologies enterprise – plastic parts “, – said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Yefimov.

He added that by decision of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city will hold an electronic competition for an offset contract for the supply of batteries for electric vehicles.

As Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department, noted, the companies included in the cluster will have to develop and launch the production of new platforms for electric transport. First of all, for special equipment that will be in demand by the city. One of the key participants in the association was the Moskvich plant, which began mass production of electric vehicles.
