VK sold Virtus.pro for 174 million rubles

The amount of the transaction for the sale of the cybersports club Virtus.pro amounted to 174 million rubles, according to VK’s 2022 financial statements, released on March 16. The esports holding ESforce, owned by the company, announced the sale of Virtus.pro in September 2022, but the amount of the transaction was not disclosed at that time. The transaction was completed almost at the book value of the asset – 161 million rubles, according to the financial results (for more details on the results of the VK year, see p. 9).
“As a result, the group recognized a profit from the sale of a subsidiary in the amount of 13 million rubles,” VK said in a report. A VK representative declined to comment on further terms of the deal.
