Cloud Mail.ru added to users the ability to transfer their files from foreign cloud storages, reported VK press service
“Users of third-party services will be able to seamlessly connect them to the Cloud, so files will be reliably protected from loss and blocking,” the message says.
Now you can transfer files from 11 cloud services, including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. To access this function, the user needs to install the Mail.ru Cloud application on a computer, log in to it and third-party storages, and then follow the system hints.
When transferring, file formats will be automatically converted to public ones – for example, documents and spreadsheets transferred from Google Drive will be converted to standard formats Microsoft office.
At the beginning of August VK announced about the launch of a new xmail.ru domain by Mail.ru for users to transfer letters from their accounts in foreign mail services. After registration, the user will be able to transfer letters and their attachments from the previous account, and letters coming to the previous mail address will be saved. There will also be an opportunity to write letters on behalf of a foreign mailbox.
