The Sakhalin Sharks hockey club and the team’s head coach Vitaly Solovyov terminated their employment relationship by mutual agreement of the parties. This was reported by the press service of the hockey club.
Under the leadership of Solovyov, the Sakhalin Sharks played 13 matches in the OLIMPBET MHL Championship.
The now former head coach of the island hockey team thanked the fans and also apologized for the fact that the club did not achieve the desired result.
“Now we need to be a little patient, just somewhere in October, in November, the team will go, they will go, because the guys began to understand, they began to play, they began to enjoy hockey. I don’t know, for some reason it was hard at first with them in this regard, they played, but they didn’t play either. Unfortunately, the leaders were a little stuck, but I say we have to wait, the guys will now go with a new coach. It is clear that when a new coach arrives, the boys will still perk up, but I also say that the game has already begun. Everything that is not done is for the better, I am grateful to the club’s management, the boys, and the fans who worry about us. All the best to everyone. See you again,” concluded Vitaly Solovyov.
Previously “MK on Sakhalin” reported, that a new season of the Junior Hockey League has started in the island region. The Sakhalin team has an away series of matches in Khabarovsk ahead.
