Residents of Moscow and the Moscow region will experience wet snow and ice on the nights of Friday and Saturday, October 20 and 21. Information Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, shared with Lenta.ru.
The specialist warned that this weather is due to the fact that the temperature is negative at 1000-1500 meters. Therefore, Muscovites will face wet snow and ice. The weather will change on October 22: it will become cloudy with clearings.
The forecaster noted that due to cloudiness, the night temperature will drop to minus, since the absence of clouds contributes to intense cooling of the surface. Temperatures in the capital will be 3-4 degrees below normal.
Previously, weather forecasters predicted several warm days in October. Heavy cyclones from the Atlantic will bring warm air to Moscow.
