The cyclone now passing from the southwest of the European territory to the northeast brought heavy rainfall. “He is very active,” Vilfand emphasized.
Two days off, according to forecasts, can provide an increase in snow by more than 10 cm. “On December 19, 1941, the snow depth was 34 cm,” the forecaster reminded meteorological statistics, noting that the probability of an event breaking the record is “not small.”
